He was the top try-scorer in the competition last season in a Brothers team which finished ninth.
The Rams are on track for a better season this year having won three of its past four games.
Reiven Smallman, Bilambil, eight tries
Bilambil winger Reiven Smallman was influential in the Jets 34-30 win over Northern United in round eight.
He scored four tries to help his side fight back after a slow start to the game.
It is a big effort from Krause and Smallman who are equal leading try-scorers and fourth on top point-scorer in the competition, despite neither one of them being a goal kicker.
Meanwhile, a stack of other players have had no trouble finding the tryline this season.
Lower Clarence hooker Callan Hollis scored four tries against an unbeaten Ballina side on the weekend.
Elsewhere, Northern United five-eighth Wally Kelly, fullback Hezekiah Mckenzie and halfback Tyrone Roberts have all scored five or more tries.
Expect centre James Roberts and winger Luke Simpson to break into the top five as the season goes on.
Mullumbimby captain Cody Nelson can play multiple positions in the forward and backline and has scored five tries in his last three games.
Byron Bay's Jesse Beauchamp is also scoring tries every time he plays for the Red Devils.
This weekend
Marist Brothers will look to stay on its winning ways when it hosts defending premiers Cudgen at Crozier Field, Lismore.
Brothers halfback Shallin Fuller has added another element to the teams attack this season.
They are fifth on the ladder and have wins over Casino, Kyogle and Tweed Coast.
Cudgen is only fielding a handful of players who were part of the premiership-winning team from last season.
They still had enough attacking flair to run in five tries against Casino in a 24-10 win on the weekend.
Meanwhile, Ballina will host Northern United in another match-of-the-round contender this weekend at Kingsford Smith Park.
The Seagulls are fielding a young team this season and have won all four of their games.
They have had to come from behind in wins over Lower Clarence and Murwillumbah and looked the most polished in a 28-14 win over Cudgen in the fourth round.
Byron Bay is on top of the ladder, one point clear of Bilambil and Ballina with Casino fourth.
