The under-16 boys representative took on the St Peter's Cambridge School from New Zealand and won the game 2-1.
There was plenty of skill on display from both teams with St Peter's sitting just outside the top 30 teams in the New Zealand High Schools Competition.
They have previously been ranked near the top 10.
"The game was a fabulous experience for our boys, to play against another country locally is very rare," FNC Hockey said.
Far North Coast has plenty of talented juniors who have been part of representative hockey games recently.
Willow Davis from the East Lismore Hockey Club was part of the North Coast team who won the NSW Combined Championships title at Wyong.
The focus will shift to senior hockey when FNC hosts the women's state masters championships from July 26-28.
Registrations closed on June 28 with teams and draws being finalised.
The competition is being played across two venues with Moorebank Liverpool District Hockey Club hosting this Southern games.
